Nobel Peace Prize

So...just anybody can get a Nobel Peace Prize today.  That's what I keep seeing posted on FB, hearing in casual conversation, etc.  Just anybody?  Really???  The one common factor among those who point, whine, tear down or wish to argue the point of President Obama's worthiness is this: Complete and utter selfishness.
These individuals are not spending their time making something better, building something up or helping someone out.  They are sitting, hunkered on their poisoned thrones of thorns, brimstone and angst, seething that this man of obvious, inordinate worthiness, temperament, intelligence and office should be honored in any way.
Tell me guys...Where is the honor in your venom?
JUST ANYBODY?  Please!!!
It's time to come together, appreciate the better points and rail against the worthy subjects....not the well-deserved honors.  He's our President!  He represents us well, so far, and he hasn't once attempted to incite, segregate or pigeon hole our citizens, as President Bush often managed; unwittingly or for a purpose; I know not.
I do see President Obama attempting to 'reach across party lines'; I do see him as possibly, hopefully a man of great Honor and Sincerity and Genuine concern.  I see a great, great man.
I do not have to agree with everything President Obama stands up for to see his heart.  That is something I haven't seen in office in ages.  I am grateful for his being elected.  Not because I'm his biggest fan, but for what it represents for our country in general...GROWTH!
